O'HARE, Jane Christina

O'HARE (née Diffley) Jane Christina Mary, died December 1, 2015. Benjamin, Michael, Patricia, Andrew, Bernard, Sheila, and Brendan would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to so many people who sympathised with them all on the devastating loss of an amazing mother, daughter, wife, sister and friend - our irresistible and unique Janey. Fr. Gerry Byrne provided a compassionate and humorous ear during her final months and conducted her Funeral Services with such dignity and empathy; we will be forever grateful. He was ably assisted by David F., Irene and their very sensitive teams. We would also like to thank the staff of both the Blackrock Clinic Oncology Day Unit (especially Sinead and David) and the Florence Nightingale Unit (particularly Darina) for their tremendous care and attention shown to Janey. The Blackrock Hospice (particulary Ursula) proved an oasis of understanding in what was a terrifying, incomprehensible journey. Anthony and Carol and their helpers sustained all the mourners at the very special gatherings which marked this universal loss. A donation to Birdwatch Ireland has been made in everyone's honour, especially Janey's.When you hear that distant call,
