McEVOY, (née Cogavin), Mai (Mary Christina) – Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin & formerly of Laurencetown, Co. Galway. February 2, 2019, unexpectedly, but very peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Donie (Patrick Donal) and loving and much-loved mother of Cora, John, Evelyn and Martin. Sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Arlene and Jo, sons-in-law Declan and Yannick, loving grandchildren Richard, Sarah-Ann, Conor, Ronan, Rory, Chloé, Donal, Niall, Aoife, Terence and Cathy, five great-grandchildren, brother and sister Sean & Angie, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, caring neighbours and friends including Foxrock Golf Club, Mt Merrion Parish and Mt Merrion Bridge Club. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum tomorrow (Wednesday) evening 5-7pm. Mai’s 95 years of life will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10am Funeral Mass in the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion and afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Fr. Tony Coote’s Walk While You Can Foundation. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam
