STOKES, Sydney Moore (née Dunlop) (Greystones, formerly of Newcastle, Co. Wicklow) - December 8, 2020, peacefully at home, in her 105th year, after a full, happy and active life. Wife of the late Patrick Stokes, loving mother of Simon, Christopher, Phyllida and Tessa, predeceased by her sister Joy and brother Boyd; much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Due to current circumstances, there will be a private family funeral at Christ Church Delgany, Co. Wicklow tomorrow (Saturday) at 11.00am and this may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/delgany . Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society, www.cancer.ie . A celebration of Sydney’s life will take place at a future date.
