DEVINE - Jim, (Blackrock, Co. Dublin). Ruth, Ian, Elizabeth and Jenny would like thank those who sympathised and supported us through Jim’s illness and recent death. We would like to acknowledge the exceptional care and attention he received from the staff of the Cedar Ward, St. Vincent’s Hospital, many of whom spent time chatting and getting to know him during his stay there. Our sincerest thanks to Dr. Kamal Fadalla and the haematology team for their exhaustive efforts in treating Jim’s illness and for keeping him well-informed along the way. We have taken great comfort from the many calls, messages, letters and cards from family, friends and neighbours. Also it has been a great pleasure and consolation to read tributes from Jim’s former colleagues and hear memories and stories from his professional life. We miss Jim terribly - to all who knew him and enriched his life, we thank you.
