CREAVEN (Frederick) (late of Rockbarton Green, Salthill, Galway) died February 27, 2008 - Fred's wife Loretta, daughters Siofra, Eimear, Deirbhle and Aoife together with his brothers and sisters wish to express our deep appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad and painful loss of a loving husband, father and brother. We would especially like to thank those who called to our home to pay their respects, all who attended his funeral, sent Mass cards and messages of support. To the great number of people who were so kind to Fred, his many friends who made telephone calls and called personally to visit, your friendship and support is very much appreciated. We would like to say a sincere word of thanks to Fred's G.P. Dr. Billy Herterich. To the consultants, doctors and staff of U.C.H.G., we say thank you for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Fred during his illness. The home care nurses of Galway Hospice and public nurses who tended to him at home thank you. To all who made contributions to Galway Hospice in Fred's honour many thanks one and all. A special word of thanks to Fr. G.Jennings P.P., Fr. M. Glynn, Fr. P. Whelan and Fr. H. Bohan who concelebrated Fred's funeral Mass. Heartfelt thanks to Galway County Board, Ray Silke and members of Corofin G.A.A. who provided the guard of honour. All who helped make Fred's funeral Mass a very memorable and dignified occasion we thank each and every one of you. To all who travelled long distances to be with us. To family members and extended family, kind neighbours and many friends who assisted us throughout the days we greatly appreciate your support and comfort. To the many callers to our home since Fred's passing thank you so much. Sincere thanks to Caitriona and her staff at O'Flaherty Funeral Directors for their sensitive handling of the arrangements. To the many people who helped in so many ways we thank you. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we would ask you to please accept this as an acknowledgement of our sincere and emotional gratitude to you all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Fred's Months Mind Mass will take place in Christ the King Church, Salthill on Easter Sunday, (March 23) at 12.30 o'clock May his gentle soul rest in peace.
