HUGHES - John, Clontarf, May 5, 2020. On this the first anniversary of his death, Johnny is lovingly remembered today and every day by his wife Mary and by his family and many friends. Mary would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with her and supported her at that very sad and difficult time. Thank you to all who attended the funeral both the small number of people permitted into the church, those friends and neighbours who waited outside during the funeral Mass and all who participated on line. Thank

you to all who sent messages of sympathy, flowers and Mass cards. A particular thank you to Father Martin Hogan who celebrated Johnny’s funeral Mass and provided solace to the family during their bereavement. Thanks

also to Brian Hoey for his wonderful singing and to his accompanist Marie Robinson for making the funeral service so moving. Kirwans funeral home provided a very professional service and were a great support to the

family. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Johnny‘s anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 8, at 6.00 pm in Saint John the Baptist Church, Clontarf.
