CLARKE (Finnstown, Priory, Lucan and late of The Open Training College, St. Michael's House and Stewarts Hospital) - June 4, 2013 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Gerry (Gerard); beloved husband of Evelyn. Sadly missed by his loving wife, mother Mary, brothers Kevin and Francis, sister Vera, mother-in-law Ethna, father-in-law Jimmy, brothers- in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. RIP. Removal from his residence to St. Patrick's Church Esker, Lucan tomorrow, Thursday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 o'c followed by Cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium. House private. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross.

<p>Sincere Condolences</p> <p>Gerry, It is over a quarter century since we were in touch, but the memories are still crystal clear. Sunny school holidays on the Bull Wall, tough training sessions in St. Paul’s school swimming pool, in preparation for many water polo matches, lost and won. Hosteling with friends in Wicklow and Dungloe, many fun times together in the Grove Social Club. Always good-humored and ready for a practical joke, your positive outlook was irrepressible. You will be missed.</p> <p>My sincere condolences to the Clarke family.</p> <p>Lorcan</p>
