McMAHON - Pat (Patrick) Drumcondra and Salthill, Galway -

Margot and the whole family would like to thank everyone for the huge outpouring of love and support we received following the death of our beloved Pat. He died peacefully at home on August 2nd. We would like to express our gratitude to all those who helped to care for him, in particular the Galway Hospice Team, Dr. Gabrielle Quirke and the Public Health Nurses.

Pat had reached the summit of his endeavours and was ready for the final ascent. He was laid to rest on a glorious sunny day following Requiem Mass celebrated by Fr. Gerry and Fr. Ned, accompanied by Sean. His adventurous spirit was honoured by volunteers from Galway Mountain Rescue who walked with him on his final journey….. He would have loved it, we are so proud of him.

Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday September 10th at 11am in the church of Christ the King in Salthill, Galway.
