CASSIDY, (née O’Sullivan) Gene (Maureen Eugenie) (Ballyedmonduff, Stepaside, Dublin 18 and The Glen (St Finian’s Bay), Ballinskelligs, Co. Kerry (formerly of Oakpark, Tralee) - 15 April 2023. Peacefully, after a short illness, in the loving care of her family and the staff at Cork University Hospital. Darling wife of the late Dr Ciarán Cassidy and adoring mother of Ciara, Rose, John (Fran), Eugene, Everina, Ciarán and Lisa. Much loved mother-in-law to Scott, Stephen, Emer, Evelyn, Jonathan, Clair and John. Treasured and beloved grandmother to her 19 grandchildren - Matthew, Aidan, Aoibh, Lexi, Grace, Aisling, Clíona, Michael, Laura, Isabelle, Ella, Eoghan, Dara, Harry, Darcey, Louis, Lizzie, Jennifer and Julia Rose. So sadly missed by her extended family, including her dear cousins, many nieces, nephews and also by her wide circle of friends. Reposing at her family home in Stepaside today (Monday) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybroook, followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Church cemetery, Glencullen.
