EGAN - Mary who died (February 2, 2023) R.I.P. Late of 131 Oak Court Drive, Palmerstown, D20 and 19 Pearse Street, Athlone. As we the Egan family remember our sister Mary who died February 2, this year, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who attended Mary's funeral Mass and burial, especially Mary’s friends and neighbours who travelled from Dublin to be with us. To all who sent Mass cards and condolences and letters of sympathy to our family. Thank you to all the people who attended the reposal and her close friends who kept in touch with us during her illness.
Sincere thanks to all the staff of Mowlam Nursing Home, Moate and all the healthcare professionals who attended to Mary's needs during her illness and to Dr Loyola Lowry who was Mary's G.P. for over 20 years. Thanks to Rev. Fr Jimmy Murray, Carmelite father who attended to her spiritual care while she was in the nursing home and who with Rev. Fr. Brian McKay gave her the last rites. Thanks to Mons. John Roche who celebrated Mary's funeral Mass in St. Peters & Pauls Church and burial service in Coosan Cemetery and also Rev. Fr. Innocence CC who assisted at the Mass. To Patrice and Bernard Coyle for the beautiful musical arrangement and singing, which Mary would have particularly loved. Thanks to Seamus Flynn Funeral Directors for their professionalism and kindness and attention to detail. To the grave diggers in Coosan Cemetery for preparing Mary's resting place, to the management and staff of the Hodson Bay Hotel for the lovely meal provided on the day of the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as our expression of our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all who helped in any way.
