O'BRIEN (née Plunkett) Carlow - May 31, 2014 (peacefully) at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Joan, "Emerald Lodge", Green Lane. Adored wife of Tom for over 60 years and much loved mother of Colma, Kennedy, Owen, Aoife, Melíosa, Donough and the late Nessa. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, her 12 great-grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends R.I.P. Removal from R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle this Monday morning at 9.30am to the Cathedral of the Assumption to arrive for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery. House private, please.
