WHELAN, John (Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, Cork and Waterford) (retired Bank of Ireland; Founder, former Chairman and Director of Hearth and Mind) June 29, 2022 (peacefully) in the tender care of Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Beloved husband of the late Clare, loving father of Christine, Pat, Peter and the late Gerald, grandfather to Emma, Aoife, Eoin, Jack, Clodagh, Luke, Alex, loving brother of the late Fr Mil MSC. Loved by his brother Dave [Dixie], sisters Margot, Pat, Mary, daughter-in-law Deirdre, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends. Funeral took place on (Monday) July 4, 2022 in The Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan, Rathfarnham. Donations if desired to "Hearth and Mind" - www.hearthandmind.ie
