MACKEY, Samuel - December 12, 2011, aged 103 years, in the loving care of the staff of The Marlay Nursing Home, beloved husband of the late Irene (née Hill), loving father and father-in-law of Desmond and Anne, Dorothy and Kingsley, Lionel and Daphne, David and Jackie. He loved and prayed daily for his 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Service of Thanksgiving for Sam's life in Dun Laoghaire Evangelical Church, Lower Glenageary Road on Saturday, December 17, at 10 am, followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is a gift of God ... " (Ephesians 2:8)
