MAHER - Noel (Knocknacarra Road, Salthill, Galway) - 6th May 2026, Noel completed his lifes journey, surrounded by his dearly loved family following the exceptional care he received by the wonderful medics, carers, and all who supported and comforted him during his short illness which he fought with grace and dignity. Predeceased by his beloved parents Bartholomew and Pauline and sister-in-law Clodagh.

Deeply mourned by his devoted and heartbroken wife Aideen, daughter Jane, sons Alan and David, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Lesley and Ann-Marie, precious grandchildren Lee, James, Oliver, Erica, Joshua and Sophia all of whom he was immensely proud of. Fondly remembered by his much loved siblings James, John, Marguerite and Norrie, sisters-in-law Ann, Angela and Mary, brothers-in-law Dermot, Donal, Larry and Rory, nephews and nieces, extended family, lovely friends and neighbours. On today (Friday), 8th May 2026 Noel will lie in Repose at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue. Private Cremation on tomorrow (Saturday). No flowers please. Memorial donations if desired to the Galway Hospice. House Private. The entrance to the funeral parlour on foot is from Fr. Burke Park.

We hope he is reunited with his great friends and old buddies for stories and laughter. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
