BUCKLEY, Eilis (nee O’Sullivan) Killiney, Co Dublin (late of Tuam, Co. Galway) - died December 7th, 2020 (suddenly in St. Vincent’s Hospital, following a car accident). Beloved wife of the late Dr Jim Buckley, cherished mother to Niamh and Sinéad, wonderful mother-in-law to Donall Quinn, the best loved “Owl” to her only grandchild, Rachel Quinn and best friend to her walking buddy, Fozzie. A much adored lady who will be hugely missed by all her family (brother Jackie O’Sullivan and sister- in-law Betty, Gloucester; brother-in-law Austin Buckley, sisters-in-law Noreen Buckley and Aingeal Ó Buachalla, nieces and nephews) and wide circle of friends, especially those in Killiney Golf Club. In accordance with government guidelines Eilis will have a private funeral for close friends and family on Saturday December 12th at 2.30pm in S.s. Alphonsus & Columba Church, Ballybrack and will be viewable on their webcam at https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/ss-alphonsus-columba-church-​​ballybrack or leave condolences on RIP.ie Eilis will repose at Quinn’s of Glasthule before the Mass from 12pm to 2pm. In accordance with Eilis’s wishes please wear a brightly coloured scarf, smile and think of happy times this Saturday. Donations in lieu of flowers to Blackrock Hospice. She lived, laughed, loved and is now reunited with our lovely Dad.
