Mac NEILL - Marie (May 3) (1931-2020)
Remembering a much-loved mum and nana on her first anniversary. Hugo, Geraldine and Eoin together with mum's beloved brother Patrick and her grandchildren who she adored, David, Isabella, Georgia, Claire, Grainne, Katie, Hugh, Eoin, Aoife, Eoin and James, would like to say thank you for the many kind messages of sympathy and support we received on mum's death last year. Like so many other families in recent times, we particularly missed being able to gather to fully celebrate mum's life and say goodbye. However, your messages were a great comfort to us and it was lovely to hear so many happy memories and stories from her life. Special thanks to Sreeja, Paul, Seema and all the staff of Beechfield Nursing Home, Shankill, who looked after mum so well over the years and who were with her in her final days when, like many other heartbroken families, COVID restrictions meant that we could not be. Thanks to Jody and all at Fanagans for their kindness in arranging mum's funeral and to Fr. John in St. Anne's Parish Shankill for his support and for mum's Funeral Mass. Thanks also to Fr. Tom Nash C.S.Sp. who supported us as always, with words of kindness and strength. Take a moment today to think of mum and smile. Together again with our wonderful dad, her beloved husband Hugh (October 3, 1995).
They whom we love and lose are no longer where they were before, they are wherever we are.
