BROPHY, Eileen (née Noonan), Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow and late of Milltown, Co. Kerry. Passed away peacefully at home on October 20, 2020. Adored wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Desperately missed by her always-loving husband, Michael, son, Karl, daughter, Fay, daughter-in-law, Deirdre, granddaughters, Sadhbh and Éabha, sisters, Aggie and Maura, and brother, Thomas. A long-serving volunteer with Wicklow Riding for the Disabled, she will also be missed by her animals, especially her horse, Nelson. Eileen was predeceased by her daughter, Gwen. During her illness Eileen was wonderfully cared for by the oncology unit at St Vincent’s Private Hospital and by the teams at Wicklow and Newtownmountkennedy Primary Care Centres. We owe them a great debt of gratitude. A private committal service will take place tomorrow Friday morning 23rd, October at 10 o’clock in the Victorian Chapel Mount Jerome Crematorium and can be viewed live on the following link https://vimeo.com/event153499 Rest now, Eileen.
