BOURKE, Ivan (Ardmore Road, Mullingar, Co Westmeath) - April 26, 2020 (peacefully) following a short battle with Covid 19, in the heroic, professional and loving care of the staff of Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home, Mullingar. Predeceased by his beloved wife Elsie (née Durham). Much loved father of David, Olwyn, Shirley and Adele and father-in-law to Louis, Bob and Jean (deceased), lovingly remembered by his wonderful sister Edie McCullagh, his grandchildren Anna, Cuán, Sorcha, Aoife, Fionnuala, Callum, Adam, Emily, Alex and Harvey, their partners, his great-grandchildren Clara, James, Alice, Fia and Cillian, brother-in-law George, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Dear David, Olwyn, Shirley and Adele, I was so sorry to hear of your Father’s death! He played the organ so beautifully at my wedding back in 2006 and your lovely Mum was there too! I hope you are all well and stay safe. Lucy McIlveen-Dauty

Dear Olwyn. So sad to learn that you have lost a great Dad. He was a man for whom I had a great respect. I'm sure he played the organ in All Saints as well as he did in Wilson's Hospital. Renewed sympathies. Jean and Stanley Ferguson.
