WHELEHAN, Richard (Dick) (Wooddown, The Downs, Mullingar) - February 22, 2024, (suddenly); Dick will be deeply missed and always remembered by his heartbroken wife Mary, son Richard, daughters Ann-Hilary, Aoibhinn and Avril, his cherished grandchildren Aisling, Saoirse, Daniel, Éabha, Richard, Aoife, Caoimhe and Róisín, daughter-in-law Anna, sons-in-law Diarmuid, Cormac and Avril's fiance Mark, brother Harry, sisters-in-law Anne, Liz, Eilish, Helen and Bernie, brothers-in-law Mortimer and Michael, nephews, nieces, relatives, close friends and neighbours. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Reposing today (Tuesday) February 27, at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar from 4.00 o'clock until 7.00 o'clock. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11.00 o'clock in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, followed by burial in Coralstown Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Dick's Mass can be seen on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie
