FINNEGAN, Edward (Ned)

FINNEGAN Edward (Ned) (Churchtown, Dublin 14 and formerly of Marahill, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan) - April 16, 2014 (peacefully) in St. Vincent's University Hospital, after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (née McNicholas) and treasured father of Edwin, Kieran, Niall and Shane. Sadly missed by his loving family, his daughters-in-law Miriam Neary, Leslie Finnegan and Miriam Hughes, his grandchildren Leah, Nessa, Jerome, Emily, Jemma, Hannah, Eoin, Sloane and Charlie, his brother Dan and sister Rose, his nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Removal on Monday to the Church of Immaculate Virgin Mary of the Miraculous Medal, Bird Avenue, Clonskeagh, for funeral Mass at 11.00 am. followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery. Ned had a heart of gold, and was the most giving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He always thought of others first before himself.He was the "father of all fathers".
