SCALLON, Colm (Shrewsbury Park, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4) December 15, 2019 (peacefully) in the care of the staff in Clonskeagh Hospital. Beloved husband of Agnes and dad to Paschal (CM), Phelim, Gabriel, Maria, Áine and Ciarán, granddad to Chloé, Elliot, Seán, Ciara, Catherine, Thomas, Eimile, Aisling and Maeve, great-granddad to Briac; father-in-law to Hervé, Margot, Art and Lene; brother of the late Packie, Josie, Francis, Eddie, Seamus, Mary, Michael, Kevin (CM) and Eugene. Remembered with much love and affection by his brothers and sister, Gerald, Oliver, Bernadette, Brendan and Damien, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and his many friends and colleagues. Funeral Mass in St. Peter's Church, Phibsborough tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 10.30am followed by removal to Sacred Heart Church, Irvinestown, Co. Fermanagh for reception prayers at 5pm (Wednesday). Memorial Mass on Thursday (December 19) at 11.00am with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations please to the St Peter's, Phibsborough, Conference of the Society of St Vincent de Paul. ‘These remained faithful the teaching of the Apostles, to the Communion, to the prayers and to the breaking of the bread.’(Acts 2:42)
