SMITH, (Neé Keogh) (Hanley Tce., Sligo) - 24th January 2021, peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her family, Rosaleen, predeceased by her son Brian, sisters Mona, Anne, Carmel, and her brother John. Beloved wife of Paddy and loving mother of Siobhan Farrell (Cliffoney), Róisín (Dublin), Jim (Boston), Patricia Blunden (Dublin), Joseph (Boston) and Hugh (Dublin). Deeply regretted by her loving husband, sons, daughters, sister, Tess Lang (Collooney), brother, Kieran, and Anthony (Dublin), sons-in-law, Seamus and John, daughters-in-law Beatriz and Amy, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in peace. Funeral will arrive at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo, on tomorrow (Tuesday) for Requiem Mass at 12.00, followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to Sligo Cathedral Restoration Fund c/o Foley and McGowan’s Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo. Due to Government and HSE guidelines, Rosaleen’s funeral Mass will be private for family only.
