ARMSTRONG, (née Hughes) Angela (Greystones, Co. Wicklow and formerly Whitehall, Dublin 9) October 13, 2021. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the staff in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Gerry and devoted mother of Derek, Katharine, Cathal, Clare, Gerald, Edward and the late Niall and sister to the late Ann. Adoring grandmother of Eve, Eamonn, Ciara, Sinéad, Cian, Leila, Daniel, Sadhbh and Cara. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister Joan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Reposing in Carnegie’s Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown this (Thursday) afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) morning at 11.30am in Holy Rosary Church, Greystones, burial immediately afterwards in Deansgrange Cemetery. Please respect mask wearing and social distancing protocols at all times. Messages to the family can be left in the ‘Condolences’ section on www.irishtimes.com . Family flowers only. Deepest sympathy from Barry and Marie O'Brien in London. Angela was a great mother, wife and human being. She was an Angel ! She was also great fun and a great supporter of all things Irish. An inspiration to all forever. RIP.
