KINNANE (Limerick) - April 24, 2012 (peacefully), at the Regional Hospital, Des, Westfields, North Circular Road, late Boart (Europe) Shannon, beloved husband of Eileen, dearly loved father of Tony and Gary; sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, grandchildren Cathal, Evan and Shane, sisters Phyllis and Peggy, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Thomas Street tomorrow (Thursday) evening from 5.30 o'clock to 7 o'clock followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11 o'clock Funeral afterwards to Craughaun Cemetery, Cratloe. No flowers. Donations if desired to Milford Hospice.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilis.

KINNANE, Des (Westfields, North Circular Road, Limerick, who died on April 24, 2012) - On this the First Anniversary of his passing, Eileen, Tony and Gary wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. Those who attended the removal, Mass and burial. Those who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and made donations to Milford Care Centre, those who called to our home and those who travelled long distances to be with us. A special word of thanks to Dr. Fergal Twomey and his nursing staff at Milford Care Centre, Colette Burke (Milford Home Care Team) also the nursing staff Mid-Western Regional Hospital, Limerick, Dr Aidan O' Brien and his team, the staff of the Cancer Care Unit, St James's Hospital, Dublin under the direction of Mr. Vincent Young, Dr. Maurice Rowsome for his care to Des, Fr. Tom Ryan and Fr. William Walsh, Our Lady of the Rosary Church who concelebrated the funeral Mass, John Kelly flautist for the beautiful music and Thompsons Undertakers for their professionalism. To our most considerate relatives, neighbours and friends we extend our grateful thanks for their kind support during Des' illness and at the time of his passing. Their continued support and kindness over the past twelve months is appreciated. Trusting that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all in grateful appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all. Des' Anniversary Mass will take place in Our Lady of the Rosary Church today Saturday at 6.00pm.
