KIRWAN Tom (December 19, 2018) - Tom's daughters Martine, Lorraine, Kathryn and Jane and his extended family deeply appreciate the kind expressions of sympathy shown to them on their very sad loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and family who attended the prayers at the Funeral Home, Requiem Mass and burial at St. Fintan's Cemetery and who provided emotional support to us at a very difficult time. To those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent flowers, Mass Cards and messages of condolence, we are truly grateful. We would especially like to thank the medics and staff at Beaumont Hospital, in particular Prof. Peter Conlon, Ger and the Dialysis Team for their outstanding care and attention over many years. Chi and Rose were Tom's wonderful home support after the death of his beloved wife Muriel in December 2016 and we are most grateful to them both. Tom's many friends who drove him when his eyesight failed were invaluable to him. We would also like to thank the kind and caring staff in St. Francis Hospice, Raheny where Tom spent his final few days in a very relaxed and compassionate environment. We are extremely thankful to Seamus Griffin, Joyce Walsh and the staff of Kirwans Funeral Home who were so helpful to us in every way. Thank you to Fr. Leonard Maloney who participated in the wonderful celebration of the Eucharist for Tom's Funeral and to Naoise and the musicians who added so much to the Ceremony. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
