DALTON - Patrick (The Village, Ballygunner, Waterford) March 22, 2021. As we lovingly remember Pat on his First Anniversary, his wife Etta, son Emmet, daughter Claire, son-in-law Barry, daughter-in-law Mairéad, grandchildren Sarah, James, Muireann and Evelyn, brothers and sisters wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We very much appreciate all the tributes on RIP.ie, local newspapers, cards, letters and messages of condolence. Thank you to all who stood outside our home, lined the route to the church and to those who watched the funeral Mass online. A special thanks to Dr. Anne Horgan and Dr. Miriam O'Connor, all the staff at both University Hospital Waterford, Whitfield Hospital and the Palliative Care team, who gave such great care to Pat during his illness. Thank you to Fr. Liam Power who celebrated the funeral Mass and to members of Waterford Golf Club who formed a guard of honour. We are most grateful to Robert Thompson Funeral Directors and the Island Crematorium for guiding us through that difficult time with sensitivity and respect. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation.
