Penelope MacFarlane nee Clibborn. Homan and I were childhood friends in Co Meath. His father was my grandmother’s farm manager. Both she and I are present in his book Rathcormack. He was a very special person and fun to be with.

Jeff Dudgeon. I was saddened to read Homan's obituary in the S Independent today. We were at Trinity together but only knew him later through his books and emails. Rathcormick was a wonderful account of a southern Protestant farming youth.
