SWEENEY, William Anthony (Tony) (Honeywell, Ennis, Co. Clare) - October 28th 2019 (peacefully) at the University Hospital, Galway, after an illness borne with courage, dignity and gentleness. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Catherine, daughter Eimear, Aideen and her partner Declan Doherty, grandson Ruairí, siblings Pat, Elma (Griffin), Frank, Aidan, Terri and Bernie, uncles Ruairí and Thomas, aunts Sheila and Nell, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandniece, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at his residence today (Wednesday) from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Arriving to Ennis Cathedral tomorrow (Thursday) for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Drumcliffe Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to Milford Hospice.
