MAURER, Desmond (London) (Formerly of Laurel Ville, Mill Road, Corbally, Limerick). July 4, 2019 suddenly at his residence in London. Much loved brother of Claire (Doyle), Ursula ( McCarthy). Very sadly missed by his brother-in-law Brian, nephew Barry, nieces, Deirdre, Tracey, Lisa and Ursula, adoring grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. Arrangement will be provided at a later date.

I remember Des from 1967 when I worked at the Lakeside Hotel in Killaloe. Jimmy Leyden (Kilkee, also deceased) and Des drove the speedboats when I learned to water ski on the river...he was kind helpful and encouraging...May he rest in peace...ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dhílis.
