David, you saved my life. It’s hard to say I’ll never see you again, although I know you’re reunited with your lovely wife Melanie up there. Thank you so much for all you’ve done for me, You were there when nobody else was. You helped me more than you’ll ever understand. May you rest in peace Big Mac

My sincerest condolences to Holly, India, Elgin and family. I have never known a prouder Dad. I know that you girls were his sun, moon and all the stars combined. I have known Dave since the beginning of my training, he was my inspiration to pursue Child Psychiatry. Dave was one of the wittiest, jovial, intelligent, kindest, bright beaming lights of joy in so many peoples' lives. He was a skilled clinician, compassionate and full of humility. He was a leader, he always spurred others on and many a time cheered me on too or showed me the way. He was an inspiration to me and to many other trainees, he made us all want to ' dream more, learn more and do more'. I will dearly miss him. May he rest in eternal peace.
