SCOTT (née Marron) Mary Olive (Greystones, Co. Wicklow and late of Malone Road, Belfast) - August 17, 2012, (peacefully), in her 93rd year, at Greystones Nursing Home, beloved wife of the late Prof. James Henderson Scott, loving mother of Ann, Geraldine Michael and Biddy, mother-in-law of Mary and Chris, dear grandmother of John, Margaret and Thomas and sister of Tony; she will be remembered with love by all her extended family and friends. Removal this (Tuesday) evening to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Greystones arriving at 6.30 o'clock. Funeral tomorrow (Wednesday) after 10.00 o'clock Mass to Milltown Cemetery, Belfast arriving at 2.30 o'clock approx.May she Rest in Peace.

<p>Mother to the Scott Clan</p> Olive was a strong presence. My memory is of many happy days in the family home with my dearest friend Ann, as we scooted in and out of the kitchen getting snacks and trying to stay out of trouble. We would be sent out by Olive to play till time for Tea was called. A woman of great intellect and definite ideas. May she rest in peace. My condolences to all the family. With love, Aileen.
