KIERNAN - We the family of our beloved brother Fr. Thomas Kiernan would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the huge numbers who turned out to pay their respects to him at the reception of his remains, during adoration on the Sunday and his Funeral Mass. Our thanks is extended to Rev. Fr. Gregory O'Brien P.P., who was a tremendous support in organizing the wonderful Liturgy. To Archbishop Vincent Nichols of Westminster for sending his representative Monsignor Mark O'Toole, to the large number of Priest friends, to all who travelled long distances and to his friends who came from Edgware, UK. To Massey Brothers Funeral Directors, Templeogue, for their outstanding kindness and empathy. To the Secretary Catherine, Sacristan Tommy, Parish Sisters, the choir, readers, altar servers, School Principals Anne Nolan and Eamonn Tracey and the children from Bishop Shanahan and Bishop Galvin National Schools, who formed a wonderful guard of honour. To the medical staff, nurses of Tallaght Hospital, palliative care nurses and for all the generous donations to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our appreciation and deep gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Fr. Tom's Months Mind Mass will be held on Sunday next July 21st at 10.30 o'clock in St. Jude's Parish Church, Willington.
