GILLEN (Cork and Galway) - December 27, 2014, peacefully at his home Patrick D. Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur Ex. 6 Commando and D. Day Veteran and later 8 F.A.R. Ballincollig, late of Henry Ford and Son Ltd., beloved husband of the late Rita (née Herlihy) and dear father of Robin, Mary, Patricia and Gerard, adored Dado to Patrick, Ann, Joy, Denis, Janet, Lucy, Brendan, Rita, Sam, Noel, David and Liz. Sadly missed by his loving family, sister, brothers, sons-in-law Tony and Fintan, daughters-in-law Eileen and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Sullivans Funeral Home, Turners Cross. Removal this Monday evening at 6.30pm to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Tuesday at 2.00pm followed by Cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Mercy Hospital Foundation and/or Marymount.
