Sad and Thankful

I know it is a long time ago, when Mrs Mac Laverty left us all, but only recently I found this message of her death. I was Mrs Mac Laverty's student at Stresemannschule Hannover in Germany from 1998 to 2005 and I owe her and her husband my passion for the English language. As teacher and, I may say, as friend, she gave me much strength over many years, even when the time at school was long ago. I am deeply touched by her death and I would like to thank her for so many thinks, but now I have no longer the chance.

It comforts me to know, that she and her husband are now in the loving hands of God. Mrs Mac Laverty will always have a special place in my heart and her memory shall always be a part of my life. Every time I speak English, it is because of her support and caring. So she will play a role in my life forever.

I send my condolences to her family and wish each and everyone of them comfort and all the best for the future.

Matthias Rau
