FINNEGAN - Ned (Edward) (Churchtown, Dublin 14 and formerly Marahill, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan) - died April 16, 2014. On this the First Anniversary of Ned's death, his sons Edwin, Kieran, Niall and Shane, his daughters-in-law, his grandchildren, his brother Dan and his sister Rose wish to take this opportunity to express sincere thanks to everyone for their kindness, love and support at the time of Ned's death. A sincere thank you to all who attended his wake, funeral Mass and burial, or offered prayers, sent Mass cards, letters, messages of sympathy and flowers. A special thanks to all those who travelled a long distance to attend Ned's funeral. We are grateful for the many kindnesses shown to us by family, friends and neighbours. We would like to especially thank Fr. Gerry Byrne, Fr. Paul Thornton, Fr. Dermot Nestor and Fr. Kevin Bartley for their pastoral care and support. Also we would like to extend a word of thanks to Niamh and Ronan Murray for providing the beautiful music at Ned's funeral Mass. We would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to all the medical staff in the Fitzgerald Unit Blackrock Clinic, and the Stroke Unit in Our Lady's Ward, St Vincent's University Hospital. Also our grateful thanks to Riza from Home Instead for all her kindness and care to Ned. We would like to thank Fanagans Undertakers, the Garda Siochana, the staff of The Bottle Tower, Churchtown and The Goat, Goatstown for all their assistance during the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions. May he Rest in Peace.
