MURRAY - The death has occurred of Denis Patrick Murray, Schull Co. Cork and formerly of Ballylickey, Bantry and Douglas, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 5th May 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents John and Ellen and siblings John and Jerry. Beloved husband of Margaret and dearly loved father of Kevin, Clodagh, Fiona and Desmond. Denis will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family, sister Anne, cherished grandchildren Simon, Craig, Ross, Nikki, Tom, Paddy, Ella and Liam, daughter-in-law Nancy, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Requiem Mass on today (Thursday) at 2pm in the Church of the Seven Sacraments, Lowertown. Cremation Service will take place privately. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Bantry Palliative Care.
