BYRNE, C.S.Sp. Rev. Tony (Kimmage Manor, Dublin and late of Cabra and Sacred Heart Home, Sybil Hill, Raheny) - Died on Friday 23rd February 2024. Missionary in Ireland, Nigeria/Biafra, Sierra Leone, Sudan and other parts of Africa and Asia, son of the late Mary (née Clifford) and Michael Byrne. Pre-deceased by brother Gerry, sisters Madge, Peggy, Sr Mary Bridget (Kathleen) and Sr Gerard (Nuala), Little Sisters of the Poor. Deeply regretted by nieces and nephews Seán, Michael and Breda (Carey), Larry, Anthony, Martin and Geraldine (Masterson) and their families, his co-minister and life-long friend Sr Kathleen Maguire PBVM, extended family and friends, and his fellow Spiritans. May he rest in peace. Reposing today (Monday) from 3pm to 6pm in Kimmage Manor. Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11am in Holy Spirit Parish Church, Kimmage Manor (D12 WP44), followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.
