TAYLOR, Iris Kathleen Alicia (Dalkey, Co. Dublin) youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Ridgeway, Kill House, Rathangan, Co. Kildare - May 23, 2018, peacefully, at home, after a long illness, borne with dignity, patience and humour; sadly missed by Desmond, her loving husband of sixty three years, loving mother of Nigel and Alan, fondly remembered by her daughters-in-law Sandra and Maria, her much loved grandchildren Ross, Selena and Luca, relations and many friends. The family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the professional nursing and caring teams for their kindness and compassion shown to Iris – They became her friends. Funeral Service of Thanksgiving tomorrrow (Tuesday) at 12.00 noon in St. Patrick’s, Church of Ireland, Harbour Road, Dalkey followed by committal service in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harolds Cross, Dublin 6W at 3.30pm. House private please. No flowers by request. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society and the Blackrock Hospice can be made at the Church. “You were the wind beneath my wings.”
