BURKE, (née Popplewell) Fay (Corr Castle, Howth) - July 4, 2022, unexpectedly but peacefully whilst on holiday in North Devon; surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff at North Devon District Hospital. Predeceased by her late husband Robert Burke. A mother figure to many, Fay will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Paula, Elizabeth and Jackie, sister Liz, grandchildren Nick, Zoë, Christopher, Aisling, Alex, Séan, Georgina, Robert, Yanni and Eilish, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sons-in-law, her nieces, nephews and by all the lives she touched. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday (July 25) at 11.40am at Barnstaple Crematorium which may be viewed on the following link, https://watch.obitus.com after which her ashes will be brought home to be interred with her husband following a memorial service in Howth at a later date in August. We look forward to celebrating her life with family and friends.
