O'BRIEN, (née Lynch), Elizabeth (Betty), October 12, 2021, Churchtown, Dublin. Peacefully in her 92nd year after a short illness surrounded by her loving family in the gentle care of the staff at Simpson’s Nursing Home, Dundrum. Predeceased by her loving and devoted husband Michael. Betty will be sadly missed by her children Gail, Ruth and Michael, brother Thomas, sisters-in-law Gina and Pat, daughter-in-law Clíona, sons-in-law Kevin and Pat, her beloved grandchildren Sadhbh, Ferdia and Cillian, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. In line with Government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings Betty’s funeral will arrive at the Holy Cross Church, Dundrum (https://www.dundrumparish.com), tomorrow (Thursday) for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon (150 people allowed) we ask that all attending Betty’s funeral enter the Church ahead of the funeral cortege. Burial thereafter in Mount Jerome Cemetery.
