We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Bishop Eamonn Walsh for his attendance, Fr. Brian O'Sullivan for celebrating the Requiem Mass, Fr. Philip Curran for his thoughtful homily, Fr. Martin Noone and Mons. Dan O'Connor for their support. We would also like to thank Fr. Paddy's classmates, the priests of the Dublin Diocese and clergy who attended the removal and concelebrated the Requiem Mass. We would like to express our appreciation to Fr. Richard Behan and the pastoral council of Ballinteer parish for facilitating the ceremonies and to the choir for the wonderful music. A special word of thanks to all of Fr. Paddy's friends from the various parishes in which he served over the years and to the parishioners of Ballinteer, we are most appreciative for the love and support shown to him throughout his life. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses of St. Vincent's University hospital and St. Vincent's Private hospital for their excellent care of Fr. Paddy in his final days.
