DALY, John (Blackrock, Co. Dublin, former Teacher and Vice-Principal of Belvedere College and late of Castle Golf Club and Limerick Golf Club) December 27, 2022. Peacefully in his 94th year. Sadly joined in death today by his sister Angela (County Clare). Beloved husband of Angela and loving father of Catherine, Alison, Eoin, Angela and Genevieve. Sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, daughter-in-law Ana, sons-in-law Frank, David and Mark, his loving grandchildren Conor, Rebecca, Patrick, Laura, Maria, Juliet and John, sister Ann, brother-in-law Brendan, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. May he rest in peace. Funeral Mass at 10am on Tuesday (January 3rd) in the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Most sorry for your trouble. John was a much-loved and very professional teacher well-remembered by myself and my brothers who were pupils in the Senior House in the period 1963-'72. Peter Thompson, OB, 1972.
