SMYTH - John (Rathfarnham) - As we remember John on his First Anniversary (August 23, 2020), his wife Gabrielle, daughter Elaine, sons Karol and Jonathan, son-in-law Lorcan
daughter-in-law Julie, his much loved grandchildren Nicholas, Hugo Isadora and Élodie sister Maura, brother Bob and extended families would like to thank our friends, neighbours former colleagues and everyone who found so
many ways to support us despite the restrictions and constraints of last year, meals, beautiful cards, letters, phone calls which sustained us over this sad time. To all who payed their condolences virtually from across the world - thank you. We found it especially moving to see so many friends, relatives and neighbours outside the Church, along the road, outside our family home as we brought John on his final journey to Kilmashogue Cemetary. He would have been truly touched. Thank you to Fr. Liam Belton for his kind words and support and for celebrating John's Mass so meaningfully. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
