X CONNELL Cardinal Desmond (February 21, 2017) Archbishop Emeritus of Dublin. Peacefully at his home after a long illness. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Peggy, nephews John, Denis and Mark, grandnieces, grandnephews, and wide family circle, by his devoted carers and his many friends and by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, the Auxiliary Bishops and the Priests of the Archdiocese of Dublin. Requiescat in Pace. Remains arriving at St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral, Dublin tomorrow (Thursday) evening at 7.00pm. Reposing in the Pro Cathedral until 9.00pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (February 24) morning at 11.00am.
