STUDDERT - Finbarr (Barry) Studdert (Comdt Retd.), and former Dublin Civil Defence Officer, late of Cork and Newbridge. In loving memory of Barry on his first Anniversary, we, his wife, Frances, his children Niamh, Brian, Orla, Una, Emer, Aisling, Barry and their partners, his ten beloved grandchildren and three great grandchildren, his brother Dick and sister Joan wish to thank everyone who attended Barry's wake, funeral Mass and cremation. We are very grateful to those who travelled from near and far to celebrate Barry's life. Those who helped us in any way, a massive thank you. To everyone who sent us Mass cards, letters of condolence, messages of sympathy on RIP.ie and on the Civil Defence website, many thanks for your kindness. A special thanks to the staff of Naas General Hospital and Ambulance Emergency Services for their wonderful care of Barry in his final days. To Dr. Donal Deeny and nurse Veronica Deeny for their dedicated care and kindness to Barry for many years. Much appreciation to you both. To Monsignor John McDonnell, St. Brigid's Church, The Curragh and to Fr. Anthony Kavanagh O.P., St. Eustace's Church, Newbridge many thanks for the celebration of Barry's requiem Mass. To the Defence Forces, many thanks for dressing the coffin. To Barry's colleagues in the Civil Defence, a special thank you for your guard of honour outside the church; it was much appreciated by the family. To Lieutenant General Rossa Mulcahy and Mr. Tom Costello, thank you for your kind words at Barry's cremation. To Anderson & Leahy Funeral Directors, many thanks Daniel and team for your guidance and terrific help. A Mass will be celebrated for all your intentions.
