RYAN, Gus, September 9, 2018, (Booterstown, Co. Dublin, formerly of Sandymount and Hollyford, Co. Tipperary), peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Ashford House Nursing Home Dún Laoghaire, dearly loved husband and best friend of Breda, loving dad of Margaret, Joan, Fran, Vin and Riona. Gus will be forever loved and sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nephews, niece, extended family, relatives and friends. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 5 Newtown Park, Newtown Park Avenue, Blackrock this (Tuesday) evening from 6.00 until 8.00pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount arriving for 10.00am, Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Mount Venus Cemetery, Rathfarnham. House private. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I will always remember Gus’ laugh, his pipe smoking and quick humour. He was a wonderful man, who will be sorely missed. RIP. love Rita, Joseph and Mary Barrett
