IRWIN (T.J.S.) (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) - June 4, 2007, at St Vincent's Private Hospital, after an illness which he met head on with great courage, which followed just 21/2 years of happy retirement (ex A.I.B.). Sam, adored and very loving husband of three months short of forty years of Helen (née Maynard); proud and devoted Dad to his precious Roy and Sandra (Kelly) who are all heartbroken that he is gone. He will be sadly missed so much by them and by his new loved son-in-law Ronan, little Sarah, his relations and many close friends. We will bring Sam to his beloved Holy Trinity Church, Killiney this (Tuesday) evening at 7 o'clock Service of Thanksgiving tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11 o'clock followed by burial at Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only, but donations if desired, in his memory, to the Oncology Nurse Education Fund, St Vincent's Private Hospital, where Sam was looked after so well. Our sincere thanks to Prof. John Crown, Prof. John Armstrong, Mr David Mulvin, Dr Donal Maguire, Dr Eoin Tiernan, Carmel Houlihan and the gentle caring staff of the Rowan and Cedar Wards."Lord, keep him safe
