KEANE, Oranhill, Oranmore, Co. Galway - January 30, 2014 (suddenly) at his home. Seán, deeply regretted by his loving parents Bernie and Padraic, sisters Cathy and Siobhán, brother-in-law Malachy, and Peter, cherished nieces and nephews, Katie, Ross, Daire and Aoife, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and many friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at the Oranmore Pastoral Centre this (Saturday) afternoon from 2 o'c to 5 o'c, followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Sunday) at 2 o'clock Burial afterwards in Renville Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Galway Parkinsons Association.

<p>My sincere sympathy</p> <p>Dear Mr and Mrs Keane,</p> <p>My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.</p> <p>I am Maria Gurney Winslow, formerly of Maree. I now live in Great Falls Montana USA- about 5,000 miles away.</p> <p>I knew Sean at Calasanctius College and at church in Oranmore. He was a fine man, always kind to me - the new kid in school and I admired him greatly.</p> <p>At one time -1986 I was hospitalized in the Galway regional. I was very ill and scared but I have a strong memory of the Keane sisters nursing me. Their smiles and connection to Maree eased my troubled state at that time.</p> <p>I am grateful to have known Sean and your family,</p> <p>sincerely,</p> <p>Maria B Winslow</p>
