DUNNE, Donal Alphonsus (Donie) (Ashford, Co Wicklow) March 19, 2020, passed away peacefully after an illness borne with enormous good humour and fortitude, in the tender care of Nightingale Unit, Blackrock Hospital. Dearly loved and very loving husband of Pam for 63years, loving dad of Jimmy, Leah, and Sally Ann (Holt), proud grandad of Katie, Aislinn, Shea, Emer, Andrew and Leah, great-grandfather of Joshua, Conor, Isobel, Elsie, Jacob and Adam; Sadly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Adrienne, son-in-law Gerry, sisters Betty, Margaret, Moira and Fionnuala, brothers-in-law Roy and Tony and his dearly loved companion Gypsy. Donal was deeply loved and will leave a great gap in our lives, family, friends in Foxbourough Riding Club, colleagues in Hassett and Fitzsimons and the wider Dublin and Wicklow business community. Funeral Mass today (Saturday) in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ashford, Co Wicklow arriving for 10am, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. In accordance with current guidelines and in the hope of keeping our friends and extended family safe, our family will understand if you are unable to attend.
