MURPHY, Redmond (Stillorgan, Dublin), March 13, 2022, peacefully (on his 96th birthday), in the exceptional care of the staff of the Four Ferns Nursing Home, Foxrock. Beloved husband of the late Maeve for 65 years, much loved Dad of Brian, Linda, Jennifer and the late Trevor, loving “Daddis” of Jonathan, Grace, Stephen, Lucie, Peter, Hugh, Rebecca, Luke, Jessica and Beth, and great-grandfather to Max, Sophia, Ossie, Ted and Ada. Very sadly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Grace, son-in-law David, sister-in-law Felicity, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends, particularly his fellow swimmers in the Forty Foot. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Monkstown Crescent this (Tuesday) evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am (which can be viewed live at this link https://www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/) followed by cremation at Mount Jerome.
